Thank you for your interest in our adoptable pets! Our adoption application helps find the best fit for each pup. Below you will find our application, detailed information about our processes, policies and more. Please review the information provided prior to completing the Adoption Application.

Our Adoption Process

APPLY
Most of our adoptable pets live in foster homes, so in order to meet them you need to apply. Complete an application for the animal you are interested in. You will hear from us in 7-10 days about the next steps. Please take the time to review our Adoption Policies below prior to applying.

DISCUSS AND MEET
Approved applications are sent to the foster home. They will be in touch with you to answer any questions you have and tell you more about the pet. If interested, they will schedule a meet and greet with the pet. Your meet and greet will be scheduled at a time and place convenient to you and the foster homes.

ADOPT
Congratulations!! Adoption fees are due at this time. You will be sent home with the pet’s folder which includes; medical records, the pet’s bio and microchip information. We will follow up with you after the adoption to make sure things are going smoothly. We appreciate you choosing to adopt and want you to know we offer continued support for you and your new family member.

Why adopt?

By choosing to adopt you are not only saving the life of the pet you are adopting, but will make room for another animal in need. You are essentially giving 2 dogs a second chance. Shelters are full of healthy, sweet, and smart animals that made their way as strays or were surrendered. These animals did not make this choice. Choosing to adopt from a rescue or shelter is an act of kindness and love.

PLEASE NOTE

We reserve the right to charge adoption fees up to $1000 for breed specific or purebred dogs, regardless of age.
Babies require a deposit of $100, with the remainder due upon pickup.
We are a foster-based rescue located in the Watertown, Wisconsin area. Because our rescue is run exclusively by volunteers, you must have an approved application before scheduling a meet-and-greet with adoptable pets.
Currently we are only adopting to families who reside in the Southeastern and Central regions of Wisconsin. Please contact us if you have questions regarding this policy.
Sorry, we cannot adopt outside the state of Wisconsin.
